Ambulance Transport

We Offer ALS, Bariatric, and BLS Stretcher Transportation

Our Stretcher Fleet

Stretcher Transportation couldn’t be easier! All of our ambulances are inspected annually by the State of Maryland DOT for mechanical safety, and by the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services Systems (known by the acronym MIEMSS) for EMS compliance. We staff those ambulances with highly trained professionals of varying skill & license levels.

All BLS ambulances are required to be staffed by a minimum of one EMR and one EMT-B, but are regularly staffed by two EMT-B personnel. Our teams work very well together and most have many years of EMS experience.

Our Bariatric Transportation Teams have special training to be able to accommodate the larger patients. Our teams & equipment can handle patients up to a weight of 700 pounds. While we can handle patients this heavy most weekdays, we would appreciate 24-hours’ notice for patients above 500-pounds since this does require we add team members to our crew & sometimes some logistical concerns.

Our ALS teams have at minimum one EMT-B driver and one ALS provider (Cardiac Rescue Technician, Paramedic, or Critical Care Paramedic, depending upon the interventions/special equipment requirements of each patient). Many of our ALS providers are on staff at our local paid & volunteer fire departments throughout the region and truly take their jobs extremely seriously.

NEW! We now offer SCT: Specialty Care Transportation, which consists of one of our ALS ambulances, an ALS team, and a Critical Care Registered Nurse.
